I have been an active member of the CvR community since I first joined back in November. I absolutely love this server and the community and wish for nothing but the best for the server. As a member of staff, I am hoping to assist in maintaining not only order but positivity within the server. I've also noticed during my time in CvR that there don't seem to be very many active staff on duty during peak hours of the day. Since I only have one active character, I feel like I can dedicate a good chunk of my time into being an active staff on duty. Also since I have been a high ranking officer in Combine for quite some time, I feel like its appropriate to extend my services to the whole server. Why should you be accepted on the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences.
As commander of SENTRY, I have learned many lessons about teamwork, cooperation, and being unbiased. I believe that from my experiences I can work well with others and leave a lasting positive impression towards others. It's important to have a good relationship between staff and the community and I feel like my positivity would definitely help strength the bond between staff and player. I'm also very active in not only the server but also the discords. I may not have any staff experience when it comes to Gmod servers, but I do have admin/staff experience when it comes to other sandbox games, like Minecraft and Roblox. During my time in CvR, I have gather a pretty good rep and as a member of staff, I believe I can represent not only staff itself but definitive networks as a whole well. Do you understand that you must have "[DEFN]" tag in your Steam name whenever you join CvR?

Sev, Icepack, Sigma, Brownfish, Kenny (Really any former or current Combine CO/NCO who has witnessed my work as Officer/Commander) An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?
There could be multiple reasons why an MPF UNION would kill a Civilian, both accidental and intentional. There are two easy ways to tell the difference between an accidental crossfire and purposely killing someone. The first way is to look in chat for an apology from the UNION and the second is to look for any complaints from the civilian regarding the matter, whether that be in the chat or in a PM. If this situation does lead to a staff sit, I would respectfully and unbiasedly listen to both sides of the conflict, then I would give a verdict that most closely aligns with the server rules. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?
I would sit the H.E.C.U Soldier down and explain that RP defecting isn't allowed on the server and that it is considered FailRP. For there first offense I would give them a verbal warning and make sure they are well aware of the rules regarding RP defecting. If they proceed to do it again, I would give them an actual warning for FailRP and report the incident to their respective higher ups. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
Since in this situation they are talking to me as a staff member, and not as my RP character, they would be breaking OOC rules. I would straight up warn the CO for breaking infiltration rules, since as a CO they should be well aware of the rules. I would also record this interaction and report this situation to their respective higher ups for possible further punishment. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?
Threatening to DDOS or raid a server is unacceptable behavior, even if it's as a "joke". With this in mind, I would immediately ban them for the longest time I possibly can, as well as get screenshot/video evidence to show higher ranking staff members. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?
Instead of jumping the gun on the situation, I would instead simply reread the rules and see if that can possible clarify my suspicions. If I am still unsure I would gather video/screenshot evidence and bring up the situation with a higher ranked staff member than the one doing the questionable action.

+1, active member and good in leadership areas. Only problem I have is the infil scenario, I wouldnt warn the CO but still get evidence for higher ups. In any case good luck on app.
